I created Strategist, Inc. in 1984 to share my philosophy of
organizational success through engaging people's spirits, not just
their hands. At that time a transformation was well underway
from industrial to informational industries, but organizational
cultures were still locked in command and control mode. The
paradigm shift would require a cultural change to invite everyone to
think and do, not just management. I developed processes that
focus on stimulating initiative from the masses; helping them to
hold themselves accountable and increase productivity, reducing the
need for supervision and thus lowering payroll expenses. As
the years have passed I learned that the most efficient method to
inspire the masses is to design an environment where employees are
permitted to create change not react to it. My processes are
dedicated to answering these guiding questions for environmental
design: "What happens after what comes next?" & "What is happening
while I am watching what happens after what comes next?" By helping
organizations answer these questions I have led cultural changes in
advertising, fast food, automotive, promotional, retail, wholesale,
public relations, medical distribution, real estate and non-profit
environments.
